Welcome to Total Benefit Solutions! We will be handling all your billing and eligibility needs on behalf of Aetna, Aetna International, and LifeMap.

For Groups Headquartered Domestically

Outlined below are the services offered by our Client Care Team. We will contact you within 7-10 business days to check in and see if you have any questions or concerns. Enrollments

The enrollment forms used to add employees to the group’s plan can be downloaded from the attachment of this article. Please forward all enrollments, eligibility changes, and terminations to billing.ak@tbsmga.com for groups headquartered in Alaska or billing@tbsmga.com for groups headquartered in Washington for processing until you have received training on how to use the Online Billing System (OBS).

Online Training

We would love the opportunity to walk you through the online platform and answer any questions you have. To set up an appointment, please email three separate dates and times that work best for you to billing.ak@tbsmga.com for groups headquartered in Alaska or billing@tbsmga.com for groups headquartered in Washington. A meeting invite will be sent to the email address on file confirming the scheduled appointment.

Billing

The group's initial billing statement along with a copy of the check or ACH that was received for the group’s initial premium was attached to the welcome email. The payment will reflect on the next billing statement. For information on how to read the invoice please refer to How to Read the Monthly Invoice or contact us and we are happy to assist.

Note: Refer to the attachment for the Billing Flyer for information on payment due dates, where and how to submit monthly premium payment remittance, paperless billing, and more. Also included in the attachments is the month-to-month ACH form should you opt to use this payment method for a single remittance.

For Groups Headquartered Internationally

Billing 

Your initial invoice will be attached to the welcome email for review. Please note that the attached statement may not reflect the initial payment submitted with your group paperwork. This payment will reflect on the next billing statement. If you’d like confirmation of receipt, please inquire with our team.

Our billing cycle runs on the 2nd Friday every month prior to the due date. Provisioned users will receive an email notification once invoice(s) are available to view in the online system.

TBS offers multiple ways to remit your premium.

  1. Physically mail checks made payable to:
    1. Total Benefit Solutions: PO Box 45329, San Francisco, CA 94145
    2. Please be sure to include the detachable section of your statement with the check to ensure payments are applied upon receipt.
  2. Initiate an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) – Banking information is located on the first page of each monthly invoice.
  3. When paying through a U.S. bank, payments may also be submitted and processed through the online portal via-ACH.

Online Billing System (OBS)

All group admin contacts will receive a registration email once provisioned. OBS can be used to view and pay online invoices and process enrollment or eligibility changes electronically. While the system is user-friendly, our team would love the opportunity to get you fully trained on the platform, please email your availability to globalbilling@tbsmga.com.
